3. Your UBC - If you would like, and are able, to contribute -
In September 2011, the University of British Columbia launched the most ambitious fundraising and alumni engagement campaign in Canadian history. The evolution campaign aims to raise $1.5 billion dollars for students, research and community engagement. From medical research to sustainability to scholarships, find a project (https://startanevolution.ubc.ca/find-a-project/) that you would like to be a part of.
For example a gift to Green College will support the programming that makes it an inspiring collaborative community. The College's main academic endowment funds interdisciplinary, non-curricular programs and activities, including the interdisciplinary lecture series.
We are pleased to announce that a UBC account has been opened to support activities of the UBC Association of Professors Emeriti. Donations to the account qualify for tax receipts.
The funds in this account will support activities and initiatives of the UBC Association of Professors Emeriti. On March 21, 2018, the first President's Award for Distinguished Service by UBC Emeriti of $1,000 will be offered by President Ono. More information on this initiative can be found by clicking on the link.
